Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM (GMT)
The Digital Health Service invites you to an interactive informal evening of conversation and stimulation; helping you become digitally fit for 2009. Come and join us at think tank Demos on Tuesday 27th of January from 6.30pm to help us crack open the conversation about how our companies, and ourselves, can all be happier, healthier and more holistic about technology. 'Digital Health' is the measure of well-being, positive or negative, in our relationship to the digital technology we use to get things done in our work, life and organisations.
Digital Health Service helps businesses communities and all their stakeholders to optimise their relationship with technology. In an era of uniquitious technology, fatigue, overload and anxiety can be significant causes of stress. We believe that good digital health can contribute to mental fitness, happiness and productivity. We are exploring how hands-on training, web design consultancy, and the invention of new online services can help every individual understand, manage, redesign and live a healthy digital lifestyle.
The evening will include presentations from:
Gavin O’Carroll - founder of The Digital Health Service
Peter Bradwell - researcher at independent political think tank Demos
Joanne Jacobs - social media consultant
Mark O'Neill - Chief Information Officer, Department of Culture, Media and Sport
Andrew Holt - now Associate Director of Innovation and Business Development, Experian Public Sector, but speaking about a previous digital life
Followed by drinks and nibbles.
We really hope you can join us.
